it's pretty cool. Fearless got me loving the sport. Watching Jet Li kicking ass is a great sight.

jackie chan used to be trained in a circus thats why he is soo good at all these stunts...so technically its not martial arts...the things that bruce lee and jet li do are martial arts

Did anyone saw Fearless? It was Jet Li's last hurrah and a pretty good one, even if it was historically inaccurate.

I do, the marines teach their variation of it. It's pretty cool, comes from a base of western style boxing.

I hate to sound negative, but many martial arts are more for "show" than for actualy fighting. Karate for instance, has been proven ineffective against other styles of fighting. Boxing is often usefull though. It's just that alot of martial arts teach a bunch of things, which do not actualy help you in fights. I've also discussed how the ranks work in karate (and I expect it is similar in other martial arts) with an experienced user (my uncle he's been doing it for several years) and he said that your rank isn't determined solely by your skill, but alot by your connections, and whether or not certain people like you. Overall, you can't realy say a fighting style is usefull for you unless you've been in several fights which you applied it to. (in real life with people who were actualy trying to hurt you, not in a sparring match)
