These are prob really easy but i'm not SURE if i'm doing it wrong:

    1. Three dices are rolled in succession. In how many ways can they come up?

    2. The final score in a hockey game between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames is 2-1 for the Oilers. How many scores are possible at the end of the second period?

    Haha yeah x_x
I jsut don't exactly know the theory behind it that makes the relationship between momentum and impulse.

Number one is 6x6x6 which equals 216

for number one that seems too easy but i'm not seeing any key words that's telling you that order doesn't matte so what shorti said looks correct to me and for number 2 you can have these combinations:

    0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0, and 2-1 so there's 6 different possibilites for the end of the second period.

A general answer for the second being (a+1)(b+1), and 6^n for the first.
