Middleman

should mods decide a few active people to be a middleman during a trade? This could cut down on scams?

 

Mods are the middlemen. Unless you're talking about nominating others as well as mods, but I don't see where this is useful as there is always a mod online.

 

i thought middlemen were appointed by both the traders, they don't necessarily have to be mods

 

SoC say's preferred. :/ I think it would be safer just to use a mod in the first place.

true...but rarely (just get a mod to MM the larger trades)

however on those other sites...well let's see...I've been scammed of 2.4m nps, about 1m gg, and $.50 (lol)...that's just in the past two weeks

 

It depends when you trade...just don't be foolish.

If you're going to trade for 52m, you should DEFINITELY use a middleman...especially because herches was only level ii or iii....and all his iTrader was avatars it seems.

Personally, I'd use a middleman for anything over 1m, but it depends on how much you trust the person.

There is usually always a mod or level v online....or just use a mutual friend if you both trust them.
