    Hey guys.
So I have a Macbook (old edition, the first macbook. NOT THE IBOOK.) and I found this website (http://www.axiotron.com/index.php?id=modbook) that promises to get me a touch screen macbook.
So I have a few questions..
    1. Should I do it?
    2. Is the website a scam or is it legit?
    3. Will I still be able to type on my computer?
    4. Who would mainly use a Modbook? Graphic artists?

Yes it's legit, to get your Macbook modded, it costs 1,200$.

I have a feeling nobody does here because
    1) Could possibly ruin your macbook
    2) Way too expensive

I concur with it being expencive. Maybe I'll get it when:
-Huge sale on the website because of our economy
    -I get more money lol

What's up with you and putting c's where s' should go? expensive. responsibility. xD Anyways, I don't think that it's a 'scam', but it is very very expensive. Graphics artists and mac lovers would probably use this the most.

Wait wait what? It doesn't have a keyboard? Meaning it makes a complete laptop into something you have to carry a separate keyboard with you for? Garrrrrbage.

Just get the tx2z series Tablet from HP. They run about 1200. Yes, it runs windows. Live with it. That modbook thing seems to be absolute garbage, to be honest.

There's nothing you can do on a mac that you can't do on a PC. Sure, it runs different programs, but everything you can do is essentially the same.

Heh. There is only 1 reason I see that Macs are better than PCs: legally, Mac's can run PC programs (I do!). Only illegaly can PC run Mac programs.
    :)
    So, I guess I shouldn't get it?

    People use that argument:

Well, Macs can run windows, windows comps can't run Mac OS.

Legally? It's sort of questionable, using parallels or bootcamp or whatever. Did you go out and buy a new license for windows? Most people don't.

Windows comps can't really run mac os in any way. Sure, you can get it running, sort of, but it's not hugely functional.

I don't understand the argument though. If mac os X is so wonderful, for what reason would you ever need to run windows programs?

The way i see it is:
-If you want to run homebrew .exes like the ones on this site, you're going to need to run Windows anyways.
-If you're running Windows, there really isn't anything you CAN'T do. Pretty much name ANY program or app that works on Mac OS, and there's something that does the same for windows.
-Nobody makes ABers for Mac. There's nothing that's exclusive for mac, in terms of the homebrew programs that you use to cheat at games.

People DO make hacks for mac, just not neopets ones. I create wallhacks for games like Urban Terror. I did buy a license by the way.
