I was actually surprised to see, that some don't know they can have Firefox running more than one profile at a time.

This means you can have the same great browser, functioning under several AddOn configurations / proxies / anything. Most importantly? Seperate cookies.

It's really simple, and it's a feature built-into all firefox versions that I've used. Not really a hack, just a tweak that does not seem to be common knowledge.

Make a copy of your firefox shortcut, this can be done by holding CTRL as you drag the icon around. Really fun to do, of course.

Your new copy, rename it Profile Manger (Not required.), and right click it. Go to properties, and modify the file destination.

Put a space after the filepath, and add "-P defaut -no-remote".

Run that shortcut and it should all be simple from there. :)

I love to customize my things. I've done the standard speed enhancements to Firefox, making an already fast browswer... faster. And of course I had to find a way to make use of multiple profiles.

I had actually considered messing with world challenges, starting up four or five random accounts to play one of those games that no one else was on. Play against myself. And, of course, win. :p

Would be easy to do with one computer after this, huh?

Wow but with that, wouldn't that mean you need to get proxies as well? Cuz usually if you play stuff like that with yourself it's highly detectable, unless you have a sibling of some sort, but then again you'll have to make your extra account look like there is actually another person using it on a regular basis.

Well, yeah, proxies would be needed. But there are a lot of sites that have them listed.
I figure some time spent tracking down which ones are worth using, would be a fine price to pay for the WC rewards.
    Don't you think so? :p

does this mean I can have two firefox browsers with different profiles open at the same time?
Or can you only use one profile at a time?

It'd work, yeah. But you might want to use proxies. :)

And this means you can have as many profiles open and running as your computer can handle.
