I have all the drivers installed and all worked fine until my dad just took 256 RAM out of the computer and put it back again.

I have a Geforce FX 5200 [I know it's a very old] and tried almost anything. I also mention that the nwiz.exe will not start and when I try to enter a game they tell me I need directx 8.1 or more [I have 9] or just turn on the 32 bits color [already at that setting].

    So...help? :( :( :(

I can't even scroll this forum right for whatever reason, it's running in slow-mo'

does "I tried almost anything" include desinstalling directx/video driver and resinstalling using the new driver available from nvidia ??? I was using a GeForce card before and had this weird problem many times where I had to reinstall drivers for the card to work properly under windows... In my case, it was random.
Oh, I just think about this: are you sure the RAM was inserted properly (fully seated against the board ??)

    Anyway, let us know...

Neither the solutions posted here worked.

I also tried installing from the CD the drivers that could resolve the problem.
It just gave me a mothefucka error and rebooted my computer [and yeah I selected the right graphic card in the list]

    Anything else to try? :D

Do you have another video card on hand to see if the GeForce is fried ???
Maybe it's time for you to change it...

Go to Start > Run and type in "dxdiag"

Then run some graphics card tests. Post your results.

Ok the problem is really the video card
Did you tried uninstalling the video drivers --> reboot --> reinstalling
Cause nvidia only have 1 package for all the GeForce series so you can't go wrong with those drivers

I'm a bit confused how removing ram caused your video card not to work and in what way exactly the video card isn't working other then a game you are playing seems not to work. It's more then likely something else that happened at the same time is the real problem. What windows version are you using? Does windows come up in full video mode or is it limited to basic video as if you had no video card? Are you able to use other video like with a movie?

Make sure to fully uninstall the drivers and reboot before installing them again...it does make a difference. Try Omega drivers perhaps, google it. Uninstall and reinstall the latest DirectX.

    Backup and reinstall your OS.

Go to newegg and buy a new video card for under 50 dollars thats likely 2x as fast as your current one.

Let me know if none of the suggested works...barring the last one...and I'll see if I can suggest anything form there.
