What does everyone think of the new layout of neopets? i found it kind of confusing but im definitely glad for a change, AND CLOTHES TOO!! (wearable ones that is)
for me the new lay-out is not awesome.. at first i dunno where is the neopia central, inventory , neopian world,, and i dunno where to create new account.. until i figure it out.
It's true that the new layout is more modern and all but people are used to the old classic neopets left-hand side bar. I miss it a lot. I think the new basic colored ones are quite ugly but the altadorian constellations one is really nice. I use it all the time.
well .. many said the the new lay-out is not good.. ..but well as the days passes by... you will gonna love it..
I agree =) After some time we'll all eventually get used to the new layout. I wish the search bar was on the left side like it used to be though. I hate scrolling to the bottom of the page to lookup stuff.
I don't like it, petpages looked better before (simple things are the best, why not?) and new style bothers me when I use multiple windows while restocking.
Yeah, I've noticed lagging and stuff when I attempt to restock too. I also have problems with the *neo-stalker-beta* module, I close my browser and go to bed and log on again the next day to find the thing saying I've been online for 13 hours! Some of my neofriends were concerned and neomailed me why I was online for so long, etc. I also hate that premium members don't get anymore stealth status.
Yes of course lagging... restocking is becoming completely impossible. Couriously, if you refresh by clicking in the shopkeeper it's pretty much faster than refreshing by f5. Anyway, I got 225 ms delays in pings to http://www.neopets.com and that's too much! And neofriends module is completely bugged, useless and annoying
i think the neopets staffs change the lay-out because of the hackers..and programs. they make a way.. that the other programs unable to work. they try there best to make neopets clean as possible.
Well it doesn't stop many cheats because each section still has the same code and strings segments used as identifiers for where to find certain information in the page. My main problem isn't with the new layout, it is the changes to the pets. Most of the changes make them look worse than before. They also ruined all the great unique poses that each pet color used to have, like grey pets for example, and baby pets are so tiny now that I can barely see them.
I agree with you 100%. I am finding it extremely hard to get accustomed to the pet changes. Like you said, they made them look WORSE not better. The baby pets are ridiculous now. What a waste of 600k that was.
Haha, I have a baby pet, but it was shot by boochi. It happened to me the 2nd day I had my account, and I had to ask a friend what had happened. They got mad because they had been waiting for years to get shot by boochi.
Mine was a gift from a friend. It still makes me really mad though. I mean, why is it so freaking tiny? Somehow it isn't as cute anymore either. I compare pics of the old and the new and I just want to cry. Why God...WHY? :cry:
