Neopets Conversion

I got a Mutant Meerca and I can convert it. Here is what TNT wrote.

Convert Pet

Some Neopets that had a given species/color combination before Customised Pets were introduced are allowed to keep their old artwork, if you so choose. HOWEVER, these Neopets will not be fully customisable unless you convert them to the new artwork. If you choose to make your Neopet fully customisable, you will be able to dress your Neopet with clothes and items!

If you want to keep a Neopet that has old-style artwork, then you do not have to do anything! Simply go on about your business. But if, at some point, you decide to convert your Neopet to the new artwork, you can do so here.

WARNING!!! Converting your Neopet to the new style is an IRREVERSIBLE change! Once it is done, it cannot be undone no matter how badly you may wish it! So be very, very sure that you are okay with this before you do it!

Should I do it?? It's irreversible..................

 

Noooo! Keep it as it is. If you change your mind later on then you can always change it then, but I think the whole 'customisable' pets is a ridiculous idea, personally.

 

All those pets that got updated look so weird

 

yeah don't covert it, i've heard all the new artwork looks bad, besides...the customise your pet is retarded...idk why neo thought this was better than old site

Haha! I know what you mean about being tempted to click the conversion button. I have a Werelupe that was convertible. At first I thought the new Werelupes looked ridiculous.

But, like you, I just couldn't resist that button, so I converted him. I don't regret it though. I actually think it looks better now. I figured that the old drawings of the pets are going to be obsolete soon. Everywhere you look there's going to be the new ones, so I decided I'd go ahead and update.

It is possible to convert my two plushie pets but they look so ugly converted I wont be doing it...
So you shouldnt either!

 

What are they? I have been dying to see what a plushie Gnorbu looks like, because it's my dream pet, and I've been saving for a plushie PB for ages. I haven't been able to find any pics of them though, and I don't want to waste my NP just to be disappointed.

 

i have to say that neopets is really going down hill cause of this dress up thing, but it still keeps me entertain

 

Sadly for you it is just a plushie lenny and gnorbu.
But I know what you mean, there are lots of pets I want to see first! And the rainbow pool doesnt seem to have been updated yet.

 

Anyone managed to buy their respective clothes??

i agree i like the old ones better. the new look didnt improve at all. it ddnt help any but didnt hurt much either. still like the old 1s. i think it was a waste of manpower.
