It's really terrible. You'd think they would have prepared for this, but .... of course they didn't. Have to wonder how long the site will be down.
My sentiments exactly. <3 They should have rented an extra server or two for a week or so (If that, honestly!), to handle the load of their own decision. Anyone up for a pool on how many hours / days it'll take?
i cant see this working out to well. each time they open the pound the site crashes. even once the pound is open there will be a huge lag. im going for around 3 days until everything is back to normal, unles all the pets are deleted.
They should have just opened it without announcing. Seems the anticipation has gotten the best of them
Haha good point. I dont even plan to adopt im just interested in what took so long.. If they deleted the pets it would be amazing, but then it would just be boards full of crap about it.
That's the sad thing, they don't delete pets. Ever. :\ There are several painted, well named pets sitting in frozen accounts. The pets just... sit there. Neo does nada. ABer would be a good idea, actually. Although you won't be noticing any less AB competition, since running those does not prevent one from performing a ninja in the pound. ...Congratulations, you'll not have to worry about two or three restock competitors!
