    When I go to the main shop, It always says that Neopian Inflation is currently at 2.31%. Anyone know the meaning of it?

    It's just the same as inflation rates in real life :).

    Broadly, it refers to the percentage increase in general prices each year.

    its telling you how much the prices have gone up or down
