    Hi all!

Up to now, I've been 100% legit on Neopets.
I'm thinking of buying an account (or more), mainly for trading pets and stuff, because all the sides I have are too young, and I'm impatient.

My question is, what happens with IPs?
If I buy an account, I guess I'll get an email account with it, right? But if I log into it at home, the IP will be the same as that from my main an legit sides... could this be a problem if I want to transfer items between these accounts?

    Thanks! :)

from my experience, multiple accounts on a single IP isnt a problem (at least for me)

it's only when i start cheating, that's when i get caught.

So you reckon it should be ok if I dont AB, or use other cheat programs?
I don't plan on doing that anyway... at least not for the time being, LOL!

I would just use proxys, best place for them IMO is proxy-list.org
Just use a proxy when y our on a side, and keep your regular IP for your main.

I have no idea what a proxy is... I'm not that good at computers, LOL!
Thanks anyway, I'll look and see if it's not too complicated...

proxy = something that masks your IP. so that TNT doesnt detect that you're having multiple accounts on one.

Thanks! Yeah, I figured that out by looking at the link Grandmaster gave me...
But it seems a bit difficult to use? Has it any disadvantages?

Proxies are often slower than a non-proxied connection.. thats a downside :p

And finding ones that work for a longer period of time... (I'd pay for a good one but I can't find any!! :()

Finding some local to Australia = difficult. I've got two Codeen proxies that seem to work good for programs.... but wont let me use them for normal browsing :(

yeah generally codeen proxies are not used for programs T_T

you dont have to find local proxies, you know o.o you can use US ones.

Yea, you can use a proxy from any country.

Also the ones on the site I posted are pretty fast, average latency (speed) for the good ones is anywhere from 500 milliseconds - 1.5 seconds, and they are all free.

Just make sure you use the ones with 100% uptime, it shows you on the right hand side of the list which ones this is.

my experience with having multiple accounts on a single IP is good so far..hasn't been chain-frozed :D (cross fingers)

did cheat on a number of the sides (fine so far)
transferring of items to and fro sides and main (fine so far too !)
transferring of pets (yet to try though but IMO, should be fine)

but of course my situation might be different from you so maybe if u are really afraid, use a proxy like what the rest of them said:)

I know a little bit about proxies but not much. How would you use a proxy to run a website like Neopets? I have only ever used them with yahoo messenger which has an option to use proxies.

    Thanks all for your answers!
I'll try to get someone to explain to me about proxies, and if I decide not tu suse them, I'll just be super cautious... I don't intend on actual cheating, just want more space for pets and such, so I hope I won't have problems :)
