    3 gb mouahahaha !
I guess you haven't taken the time to read the full spec of the computer ???

I'd really like to see 1.5 gb ram !

As for the "don't touch AMD" thing, I'll just post a link to tomshardware.com, one of the best site regarding electronics... trust me, they know what they are doing ;)

The faster Core 2 duo 4500 is no match with the AMD 64 x2 4000+ running vista.

But let's get back to your 4 choices...
I do like the Packard Bell iXtreme J9426. Add a real nice video card in there and you have quite a nice system. Pricy but nice.

The thing is, I have no need for 1000gb, I'm satisfied with only 320gb. Ricky's advice was to get the Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo Li 2642 with 500gb, which is more than I need but still not expensive.
I'm not a hardcore gamer, I only play a few times each month. The things I use my computer for are mainly internet, downloading music and videos, do some small photoshop things and for school things.
I have no need to watch tv on my computer screen since I often do both at the same time (multitasking ftw).
I just got my pay check today and it seems I won't be able to afford the Packard Bell iXtreme J9426 at the moment and I'm really in need of a new computer soon, so I'll have to rule that out unfortunately.

I'd recommend getting the Fujitsu, for sure. As a second choice, probably the HP A6235. Both of them have pretty decent specs for the price, but the Fujitsu looks like a better deal since it comes with a bigger hard drive and those can get kind of expensive unless you catch them on sale. You say you don't need a huge hard drive, but if you download a bunch of music and videos (and keep them), you might find yourself running out of space pretty quickly.

As for processors, I don't know much about Intel since I've never used one before, but I can tell you personally that I've never had a problem with AMD (I'm using one right now, actually). If you decide to go with the HP, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

It says the Fujitsu graphics card connects through vga, I thought the best way to go now was through PCI-E?

What are you going to be doing with this computer? Gaming....ect..

Bought the Fujitsu-Siemens, and it's like a whole new world.
My previous computer was like 80gb hd, a graphic card that doesn't support any 3d at all, and just plain horrible.
I don't care what you guys say, I LOVE Vista! :D
