    Wii

I still don't understand what all the fuss is about the Wii
It looks crappy, graphically, and also I bet that controller will be harder to use than implied.

    What's so good about it?

Do you mean as in, it's the controller that makes it cool? Because the 360 will be releasing a control just like that soon...

    Re: Wii

According to this magazine I got, the 360 can and will

It says here that theres will be better (although it IS a 360 magazine, so it will be bias)
With their one, you don't have to point it at the screen
It uses ultrasonics, radio and tilt sensors

They would have to make special custom games for it, it wont work.

I don't like the 360, the games are boring on that system. However... the Wii.. I can NOT wait to get. I love the idea of moving while playing the game, makes you feel more involved inside the game, rather than just sitting on your bum and pressing buttons.

True, but since you're doing it yourself, doesn't that mean you won't be able to do cool attacks and combos? (I'm thinking of fighting games)

Well, I was told that the game Zelda for the Wii has some "fighting" attacks that you have to do the motions for. I honestly don't know, but I have a feeling that Wii is going to be making some games that will involve cool attacks/combos for fighting games. *shruggs*

well the developers could try to make special moves for a fighting game in the wii example you could grab an enemy by the neck with the right mote, and you would have to shake left as fast as you can to do big damage, depending on how hard you shake the left nunchuck.

i love the wii. I bought one on release. i know i'm retarted for standing outside of a building for 6 ours, but it was worth it.

my friend bought one too. except he allready broke his controler. he was playing madden, and he threw his controler at the tv when her was throwing the ball.

    lmfao!

There has been so many complaints from broken controller/straps/tvs because of that. People are dumb lol, you don't need to be so forceful, just a simple motion would do :p

How are the games on the Wii, which ones have you played so far?

Wii is incredible. The gameplay is amazing compared to xbox 360 and ps3. I applaud Nintendo for making a fun console as opposed to a graphically-enriched console.

I can't wait to get the wii. Hopefully, I can find one in stock somewhere. Ever since I've played it at Nintendo World Store, I've been itching to get one. Believe me it true that playing is believing.
