Does anybody else here use the petpet lab ray? Today I got a grey weewoo from a pile of soot- the first good zap I've had in a long time!
No, I keep meaning to get it just to go for the avatar, but other than that, I think it's pretty much a waste of time. I find petpets really dull anyway, but the fact that there's a little note by it when it has been zapped I think takes the fun out of getting something really rare. Has it's price inflated now that the lab ray has or is it still around 850NP a piece?
yep, i have the ray. and yes, its 850 a piece still. I have a complete one for sale in my trades to. I got a couple diferent cool petpets....seems the last five days were random petpet days for me. Got a pirate one too, arrr
I agree unfortunately, I wish the little note was less obtrusive if nothing else. Ideally, just get rid of it altogether.
I agree. What would make it even more fantastical was if they made it so the pets would change permanantly. Even if it cause the pet to become untradable. I kinda like that idea.

Does zapping and only getting a name change disqualify it from the PPL? Because I accidentally zapped this one petpet that I've had for a pretty long time. Eh, oh well. It would be less than 10k anyways.
It's about 2 years old, but eh, whatever. I might just sell it; it's a Christmas Doglefox. What are they worth nowadays? Last time I checked, they were going for about 60k.
After you zap a petpet, if you remove it from your pet, it reverts back to its original form. Also, you are no longer eligible to win the PPL prize.
Arg...its almost starting to be pointless to me now. Only good thing is that you CAN get the avatars for owning a specific petpet with it.
Yeah, I've managed to get one matching petpet but today my beautiful Marafin turned into a Graffle. Ugh. TNT hardly makes it worth it to use.
But... nothing happens. It makes a kind of 'zzrrrppptttt' sound before shutting down completely. The creepy Kookith shoos you away and appears quite angry, so you hightail it out of there before he shoots some miniature laser beam at you or something. Looks like you'll have to come back tomorrow. Meh.
My BEST EVER has been a Cloud Zebie and i was soooo happy!!! a couple of days ago i got Christmas Baby Blu and yesterday i got a White Anubis from soot! So i haven't been doing toooooooo bad lately.
