A friend of mine wanted a forum for some friends of her and I was just wondering if you guys have any tips on some sites which hosts phpbb forums and which let's you mod it?
For example, I tried phpbb88 and I wanted a green cellpic instead of a blue. However, once I had made one, it wouldn't let me use the url or upload it.
So any tips are greatly appreciated =)

They probably do, but I'm a bit picky with the url :p
I'd prefer if it didn't include any of the words "free", "angelfire" or "mb" ^^

Look at this site... Most of the known site hosting free php is there.
You'll be able to pick one with a nice name if you want ;)

I just tried that but first of all, over half of all the links require $ or don't exist. And the other half don't let me upload my own pictures for the layout (such as cellpics). Also, the ones I find don't seem to have all the features as phpbb88, so it's like bad versions of phpbb88 :p
But if you know which one of them that actually let's me do all that, please let me know ^^

Well the best idea is to get a host that is not for forms only since you will have the ability to add anything you want and the same power as running it on local host. Hyperphp is good but it may take a few tries to find a host that you like.

I tried that one earlier, and I just signed up.
The only problem is that I can't seem to find a login page. :p
