what? young accounts can't adopt decent level pets? she's only level 5. I was just moving her to my side account but I couldn't transfer her is this really what's supposed to happen? she doesn't show up in the pound if I search for her, even though it says she's still in the pound well now that's it's too late I've gone to read the rules. Whyyyyyy? I was doing it so there would be room to transfer a pet from my side to my main. Which I guess I'm not doing either since I was dumb enough to start leveling it up in advance. That's actually the most annoying rule that exists on the site
If your account's under the age of 4 months, you can only see pets up to Level 3. The pet colours you see are restricted too =/ You might want to readopt her on your main (assuming it's older than 4 months) in case someone else gets her. Unless you mean... someone else already adopted her? D: [Edit] Actually, there's a rationale to that rule. That's to prevent people from creating new accounts just to pound-sit and adopt good pets (which they can later trade for). Of course, people can just age their accounts, but that would take a longer time. [/Edit]
I accept the general rationale of that rule, but surely raising the level limit to 5 wouldn't destroy the internet. I'm not trying to grab limited edition pets or rare colours and no, she's still in the pound but my main isn't old enough either. I'm much less attached to her than my other pet, thus the side account transference, but I'm still quite displeased whatever, I made another. Similar name, although I think slightly better. Slightly worse stats due to lack of faerie quests, but I can live with that. I'm just glad I had 4 pets on my main so I had to transfer one off before getting the pet that I wanted edit: here's a question though, if I hit up count von roo and lose, the pet I want to transfer will only be level 2, but he's also just finished a pirate academy course for level. If I don't cash in on that, will I be able to pound and adopt him successfully?
PM the name of one of us, and we will pound her back to you when your main ages? That's my only suggestion.
that would have been a good idea, and I am annoyed that she's still in the pound, but I actually much prefer the newer named pet I just made. I also already painted her replacement, so whatever but ya, does anyone know what will happen if I pound a "level 2" that technically has already gained a level from the pirate academy. is it even possible?
Completely possible - except I think it has to be level 1. I don't think you see level 2s even. I've done it before - the von roo thing.
Nope, you'll be able to see Level 1's - 3's. But, just in case, surf the pound to check. If you can see Level 2's, you should be able to see your pet
didn't matter because I rolled a 6 against von roo. bah I hope it's not possible to see level 3's because that would have meant I would have been ready to go already edit: I rolled another 6, and then he leveled up at the shrine. so now the level 2 I wanted is level 7 oh well
