Ps3 worth £425

im getting my wages in at the end of the month and was wondering if its wort £425 for a brand new one with 3 games or £325 for a prewoned with 3 games
what do you thinks best.

and is it possible to chip a ps3 yet.

definately if it is cheaper.......

they only came out quite recently so i would say it is definately worth it considering it will still be quite new and any way to save money is good if oyu are going to spen that much money

but thats just me, a stingy poor student.

Either way its top technology and worth it if you really want it and can afford it.

 

ps3 may be overhyped , but i dont know personally yet. money wise its not going to be much of an issue because its expensive either way, but if im going to even think of buying it, id recommend trying it out somewhere before purchasing

 

Why would you waste your money on a PS3? They are pieces of flaming garbage that are overpriced. The hype was way too high, and the PS3 will never be able to compete with the likes of Xbox360 or the Wii.

PS3=bottom class of next gen.

 

Surely this is just a matter of opinion?! I would get a PS3, because that is where most of the decent RPGs are. (I just cannot afford the price.) Xbox360 is also way overpriced and as far as I am concerned, imo, is a waste of money. It is just a case of what each individual prefers.

 

I would get the preowned ps3 as long as it still has a pretty long warranty.

 

well in my country its worth RM 2500, i cant wait to get my hand on it even it is say to be overpriced or not worth it,

 

could we please keep discussion to which one is better to buy and not whether either of them should be bought

check the warranty on the pre owned one and if it is long enough in your mind, go for it
£100 is a fair bit of money... although i would go for the new one (but then, that's just me)

 

definately get the pre-owned one..as long as it works its basically the same as the brand new one

Pros:Incredible, best of gen graphical capability

Pros: Great for having friends over
Cheapest
Innovative controller

Cons: Not as fun without friends playing with you
Graphical quality much less than the other 2 next gen consoles

if there is ill get one and ill be saving money by getting games for £5 instead of £50
