PSP

How many of you guys own a PSP? Well I do and I am very into homebrew and hacks for the PSP. I just recently downgraded my 2.8 psp to a 1.5 psp then upgraded to a custom firmware ( 3.02 OE-B released by Dark_Alex ) then firmware spoofed to version 1337 =D

I have custom fonts and a cool backround to match my font and I also have a custom gameboot =P

 

not into handhelds, i dont like them. Their games dont require much skill.

 

Last handheld I've boughten was the GBA(some good rpgs on it). Don't think I'd ever actually buy a psp.

 

GBA? The last handheld I have ever bought is still my trusty GameBoy Color*. I still pick it up and play the old games at least once a month.

No I dont have a psp...

 

I am not that into portable gaming so the psp is really too much for me. I do have a DS mostly for animal crossing. DS is good to just pick up and play whenever without having to devote too much time to games.

It is really fun modding my psp... hacking, homebrew, apps

and Dark_Alex is just a firmware making machine!! He makes more firmwares than sony lol

dont like the handhelds much, not much u can smash without great damage, like with ps2 u can hit the control and if it breaks u can just buy a new one for like $30 but if u break a whole psp its like $200

 

I'm not particularly in tune to the PSP. The DS/GBA I prefer more due to the fact it's more refined, better selection of games, and lower price.

 

well the thing about psp is that you can download games on them =)

but the screen is pretty small

by the way... dont they cost about the same amount?

 

uh PS2's are in the lead a bit but theyre not too far apart...

 

I have a DS not a PSP though, never really liked them. Guess that's just me though.

I love my psp, the hacks r fun, but maaaan the games for the psp just suck...it has so much potential (graphics, browsers, UMD movies) but it just doesnt have the support on the market that it needs...IMHO, DS has far better games but hopefully something will come along

 

Neat My brother just bought me one. Like last week. I have only Tomb Raider, though...as a game.

 

Only game I want to play on the PSP that isn't a port or a multi-version game is Loco Roco.

The DS just kicked the PSP's ass SO bad.
I love my DS, I used to hate handheld gaming, but the DS is just...Waah. *Creampants*

PSP is just, heh, it does too many things, but isn't particulary good at any.
I wanna watch movie, I'll use a portable DVD player. I want to listen to music, I'll get a mp3 player, I want to play games, I'll get a DS.
Haha, I'm talking like a rich kid.

 

Got one here too Absolutely love the homebrew, though some emulators still in beta, but give it a year or two, PSP will be able to do anything
