is anyone able to teach me how can i do it?

cause i heard that Acer has a shortcut to (re)formatting the computer, but i'm unable to confirm this though.

anyway, i don't have the XP CD, so it this still possible?

    thanks!

okay, now will try it out on my lousier computer.

does it work the same as reformatting? ^.^

    thanks alot!

EDIT: Dang, i can't find it on my lousier computer at the startup screen, although this computer has it. Any idea where else it could be located besides the start up menu?

u mean a total reformat where u will lose all ur info thats not backed up? or just bringing the settings back to a later date on atleast all computers sense xp that I know of they have whats called system restore which will bring the settings and stuff back to that date to hope to correct some problems but u keep ur files. Most others was I'm aware of would require either a windows disk unless your computer came with some or has a tool that enables u to create a disk to do such.

If you have an acer that means that you should have a recovery option of sorts. Go through the manuals that came with the computer look for something with restoring computer to factory settings or something like that.
