Ok, i know i seen this mentioned by tnt that we must have javascript enabled...but my question is...how do they know if it is enabled. I don't really understand. It is when you click ok to buy...it logs it in. Whats the deal?
To my knowledge they can't check. When I use javascript there is NO extra data added to the data sent from my pc to neopets's server.
What are the benefits of having Javascript disabled? I've always heard that it was against the rules, but I've never quite understood what disabling it does. Anyone care to explain?
Javascript - Simple version. Disabling this makes refreshing slightly faster (for moi) It stops ALL popups from neo, such as "are you sure you wish to buy this item for xxxnp" So when restocking, it automatically takes you straight to the haggle page, saving LOTS of time. SAme when in a shop. negatives neomail system doesnt work with it disabled Create a pet dont work + freeze rate (More in my RS guide) I risk it often works
I always disable when I restock legitly Haven't got frozen in like 4 months.I think the freeze rate is pretty low.
from what i heard...tnt calls it cheating and gives an advantage that no other player has. So i guess they will freeze you for it. But still, i'm wondering how would they know if it is disabled?
Opera also can block javascript AND content...such as the items you don't want to accidentally buy...but thats cheating too....i wouldn't do that.......ever....... :yup:
to disable it go on to tools above the domain bar. and the tnt catch you because you refreash at there servers faster than possible....they put two +two together.
