    I just got Silent Hill 4: The Room and Silent Hill 2. Does anybody else play these games? What's your favorite?

    i tried the room, and i played it in the dark. bad bad idea.

    i returned the game. couldnt finish it without wetting my pants ;)

    Ha! It is a scary game. I always play it when I have other people around so I don't get too freaked out.

    I have played Silent Hill 1 on my PS1, but never finished it ^^ I was way too scared.
    Nowadays I prefer sitting next to a friend while he is playing Resident Evil ;)

    The movie was based on the games, and yeah, I agree about the movie not being as good or scary. It just wasn't as creepy.

    I have silent hill 2 for Xbox. I rented The Room and got confused so I sent it back to gamefly.
    I subscribe to EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) and last month it said there will be a Silent Hill 5 coming out for next gen consoles. I have an Xbox 360 so I am planning to get it.
    What other horror games would you recommend though? Iven though Silent Hill is more than enough horror.
    Mmmm... Tar men.

    Alone in the Dark is fun, and I've heard great things about Resident Evil, especially the 4th one for the Gamecube.

    The Silent Hill series is great stuff. Fear is a pretty good game for PC if you like scary stuff, along with doom 3, you cant see anything before its on you.

    Yeah, RE4 isn't exactly scary. It's pretty cool though.
    Condemned is a scary game 0.0 maniac killers jump out at you randomly.

    I was actually reading the top ten scariest video game moments in GameInformer Magazine and it said that Silent Hill 2 got moments placed in both first and second.
    This makes me want to pop in and finish that Silent Hill 2 right now xD

    ive played all of the and proud to say i beat them all aswell i sudjest you to get a ps1 / ps2 and getting silent hill 1 and then 2 then 3 then the room the story will make more sense really good games i feel like they are way scaryer than RS games =)
