THE LAB MAP MUST BE STOPPED AT ONCE FROM SKYROCKETING PRICES, AND USERS INFLATING THEM, THUS WE NEED TO GET GOOD SNIPES OFF THE SHOP WIZARD THAN, SELL 300K PIECES AND PRICE THEM AT 800K TO DEFLATE THEM, Or we can force tarla to giveaway map pieces
It's a lot easier to make a lot of nps now, so obviously the prices of popular items will inflate...it happens. Don't complain
Did you miss getting a lab map because you coudn't afford it? I agree with the inflation. I found a lab map and made 300K easy. It would suck finding one and it selling for 20K.
If you have nothing more to add to this topic other than "Inflation is good because you can make NP" then please don't post. It's called spam. I know what you mean about the lab map. I've just transferred my items and NP over to a different account and self-iced my old one as a few people knew my username, and now I have to buy the lab map again. I have plenty enough for it, but it is annoying because I'm looking at the prices and wondering if when I buy them, pieces will be given out by Tarla and deflated. The lab map set prices have gone up and down if I remember rightly. I'm sure there was a time when the price of a full set actually dropped for a while, before the Tarla days. However, I think that now they are just going to keep going up. One reason for this is that so many of the accounts on Neopets are being created by members who are already established who either already have the NP to by the set straight away or earn it very quickly, hence demand is high. When the vast majority of new accounts were being created by brand new members, they wouldn't immediately know about the lab map and would often collect pieces through random events to help them. No one has the patience for that anymore so prices are bound to keep rising, I'm afraid
inflation can be good, and be bad. there ARE reasons why it inflated, so if you want to make money, just invest! :yup:
i'm going to have to agree with a lot of this. the prices are going to continue rising, although, once the pound is reopened i have this sneaking suspicion that the lab sets are going to deflate. a lot of people are speculating that the labs are so expensive now because people who normally depend on the Pound for painted pets are forced to buy their own. -shrug- personally, i don't agree with the price of 300K for piece number nine. or is it eight? either way, i was lucky enough to find that piece in a random event and well, i made that 300K. so i can't complain too much, you know? basically, patience is virtue. i'm sure in a couple months the prices will deflate a little bit. the demand is just extremely high right now, so sellers are milking it for all it's worth. welcome to the real world, neopets style
the inflation is good for people that already have the lab map....especially when we find pieces on the ground that are unbuyable
with the lab as useful as it is in the long-run for users... it was just bound to inflate... it just inflated all at once rather then slowly over time as it was doing...
i was around when the lab maps are 10k a piece. I am killing myself now for not stocking up super alot.
10k a piece? Never heard Good old times! Anyway, I have a lab map yet... but me too disagree with the inflation. I think that lab map shouldn't worth so much.
my mom bought 10 sets for 90K each 6 years ago, and she has like 10 mil now, and I still need the 300K piece >
i just had a RE that gave me a 330k piece of the map....im not complaining (+4 reply to a thread that was created to raise post counts )
People on neopets are so greedy, It should be TNT's decision to rise up the price not theirs! I thought 800k was enough for people to be happy with but I guess not.
