So basically, my computer audio won't play. I killed my windows awhile ago, and forgot to save the drivers. I've gotten nearly everything back up and running, but not the audio card/box thingy. I have the driver, I found it online, it's semi-installed, but I can't get it working. When I try installing using the windows wizard, it nearly completes, but then it gives me the notorious Blue screen of death, saying that it's dumping physical memory, because windows could have been harmed. Then, I go try to do it in safe mode, it installs just fine, but then it doesn't keep the installation. Anyone know stuff about drivers that could help me?
are u sure u have the right driver for ur card? after i reformatted my sound didn't work and it took me a good while to realize that the sound driver i installed was wrong(was for my other comp, lol)
Re: Someone wanna give me help with getting my audio working Can you tell me what sound card you have? Or link to the website where you found the drivers?
