IF YOUR CONNECTION SPEED IS NOT BROADBAND. THIS WILL TEMPORARILY SPEED YOUR FIREFOX AND THEN COMPLETELY CRASH IT. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS FIREFOX CORRECTLY!

okay so i got your attention, good. lets just get to it shall we?
    1.Open FF
2.enter the following into your url bar.
    about:config
3.look for "network.http.piplining" it is probably false. Double click this to make it true
    4. near that there should be another entry called "network.http.proxy.pipelining", double click that to make it true.
5 Finally right click anywhere and click New>Integer and name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set the value to 0

there you go. restart ff and it will be much much faster. this doesn't make you any more at risk for viruses or anything. +votes is greatly appreciated. hope this helps.

Does TNT consider this legal? Because I heard TNT considers stuff like fasterfox and turning off java as illegal and people have been frozen for it. (Not sure if thats true though).

umm, browser tweaking isn't cheating at all. No one gets frozen for this stuff, seriously. Anyone claiming to be frozen for it is covering up for something else that they did :p

exactly right :) Jscript is cheating tho, editing preferences in FF is not cheating.

there is no way TNT can freeze you for changing your preferences. and its an unfair advantage just like having high speed internet as apposed to dial up or any other slower connections. btw how would TNT know if you had network pipelining and proxy pipelining on? You won't get grozen. especially with the bank glitch people getting frozen, they are in over their head with frozen accounts.

if it is broadband, this is good advice. I used this on a slower connection and cant use that internet anymore but this computer takes it quite well.
