Sponser Links.

Someone mentioned that people were being iced on neopets for using the sponser links.

Is there any truth to this? Have you been frozen for using the links or know anybody who has? I am just trying to find out if this is true or not, as I use the sponser links to boost up my np and obviously I don't want to get banned.

 

Personally im playing with fire here. I've been doing sponsor links on different side accounts and even on my main and then transferring the money. Not frozen yet though.

and I wish someone would update their sponsor programs becuase i hate logging into each account, it takes forever, i want to be in and out as quickly as possible..

I spent maybe 5 minutes every days on the three sides i have and i still feel that is too much

 

Lol i spent over half an hour trying to update all my sponsor links. Can be a bit tedious.

 

Where did they get this information? Was there something about this on the neopets news? If so, does someone have the link? I was getting money still from the sponsers, it doesn't make sense. If the links are to banned, then surely it would be sensible to ensure that no np is earnt from these links?

 

I've heard of 1 person being frozen for it, but he transferred it to his main, so I guess he was frozen for that.

I don't think just using the Sponsor links/tabless is illegal, as long as you only do it on one account. I've heard of a few people who have been iced ecause they used multiple accounts to make more.

 

I do that :lol: but the sponsor links earn money for TNT. So for those who sponsor links on one account should be safe but on numerous acc (like me) it isn't so safe. So why do I still do it? :lol:

 

If sponsor links are non-legit, Neopets has only to remove them.
I don't think they are against the rules, it would be stupid... the non-legit things are making nps from different accounts and transfer them, and doing sponsor links with scripts. In the editorial TNT said that using script like the NeoEditor's one was against the rule, because using it you not even see the sites you open.

every day i do NeoAcadamy and sometimes i have to do it multiple times on one account because it never gives me the 40-50k in 15 minutes like it says

anyone having the same problem?

 

i suggest waiting longer for your points, if they see that you go to the same 300+ pages multiple times they are going to know you're using the program and might freeze you

 

I think TNT winces everytime they freeze ppl for sponsor links as they make money from sponsor link ppl. All u have to do is not abuse the sponsor links and u wont be banned. If you are gonna do it on side accts.... do it for 3 weeks so that each side has like 500k, buy a ETS 500k item and send it over to your main. This will most likely keep u safe. works for me...

 

I agree. I've not been frozen even though i regularly transfer money over to my main. Its just luck sometimes

If you really value your main, don't use the sponsor links. There have been numerous reports of people getting frozen using them. It's a theory though that only the programs that do the video clicks get you frozen, so find one without those and you SHOULD be alright. I can't make any promises, but that's what I hear.

 

Hmm i've not been frozen after 3 weeks(main). Must be a lucky chap. Or do TNT pay less attention to older accounts?

 

There's no guarantee that you'll be frozen for using the links. People have been doing it for a year or more and still not gotten frozen. It's all very random. Just know that you're more likely to get frozen using programs that do the video clicks.
