Christ, I'm not paying that much, I don't even use my PS2 much.

 

Yeh I think it is yeh but those people who make the ps3 get LOADs of money for it.

 

not really, they're actually taking a hit to profits when they sell each ps3. regular blu-ray players are about $1000 alone, while the ps3 has a 20-60GB HD depending on what price one you get, plus the costs of blu-ray and everything else in the console

 

I got a Xbox 360 to, its awesome.

 

ok kool but they do make alot though otherwise they wont be selling it.

 

they make money later on in the consoles life, and off the software when a console releases companies almost always take a hit when they sell it, but as development and production costs go down they begin to make a profit

 

I'll definitely buy it after a year its been released. The price would drop by then even though not a lot. My brother also going to pay for half of it.
