hmm, i just realised one flaw in the autopricer (as an idea itself) when it does multiple searches, let X be a higher price, Y be a lower price it'll find the average of X and Y, and thus, the pricing will not be the lowest is there anyway to solve this?
Doing more searches, or price your product a little under average. Automatically taking the lowest price may bring you the risk that you price your products too low, if your first search is a n00bs shop with prices that are too low.
even if i do more searches, if i use more lowest prices to average, my price STILL won't be the lowest. is there anyway to solve this?
yeah i get this too. what i do though is i go through everything that doesnt sell in 30 mins and decrease the price by 100np periodically maybe we could have a feature in one of our APers that automatically decrease the price from the lowest found by a user inputed amount. Also, in one the APers i use, it has a feature that prices it between 2 certain percentages of the lowest price found
Use teh percent fetures and mke it 95-75. It dosn;t really matter if it is teh lowest just that it is one of the lower ones
I could set mine to keep searching x amount of times(the user specifies how many), get a price and if it finds a lower one take that one and subtract x amount which the user also specifies. I could do that easily if its what you want
just because it's the lowest doesn't mean it'll be the first bought although if the person is sane then it will but ppl also tend to buy multiples of an item if it's like say a snowball, you usually buy 5-10 for a battledome fight and keep doing that for every fight so it just needs to be in the range of how many multiples ppl would buy for the particular item.
