I keep hearing from people that have stopped abing, and stop using programs and try to go legit, the second they legitly rs a UB they get iced. This is happening to people who have been iced uncountless times, so you need to change your IP address....not a proxy. For SBC DSL (AT&T) you can unplug you modem and plug it back up and your IP should change (works for me) cable internet users can call their ISP and request a IP change, and im not sure about dial-up users.

The point im trying to get across is, you cannot go legit under a non-legit IP address.... i might post this really simple guide to changing your IP for DSL users..

Here is the guide to changing your IP...may or may not work

Your IP changes everytime you sign online when you use dial-up, right?

tnt said in the editorial that its possible that thousands of people are using the same ip. so if someone uses an aber, does that mean that every single one of them are going to get frozen? :?

one good thing about dial up is that you can get it free for the real crappy ones though

how safe are proxies? is there any detectable difference between using a proxy and changing your ip address completely?

if you use a proxy many people could use it

if your ip changes completely, no one will use it, just you

call up your isp and ask for a dynamic ip that is even better than a proxy

my dynamic ip is irritating, everytime i unplug the modem to change it, it takes like 5+ mins to reconnect

so can tnt detect if youre using a proxy?
