What are they and how do you do them? :?

I have heard these things mentioned in the proxies help thread under "advanced techniques" but they were never explained.

ip masking is so sites cant see your REAL ip incase they wanna track u down
ex. u make an acnt under a proxy, say 123.123.123.123, but when u ab u use ur direct connection so ur ip is 321.321.321.321, so if u send items over it wont look as suspicious because the ips rn't the same so u mite not be the same person

I recomend ProxyWay (google it) if you want to use a proxy to hide your IP. Their free program gets the basics done. And I suggest that you use it when you use an AB for sure :)
