Ugh so yeah..I am bound to get junk on emails. I remember making gmail accounts, rotting them, and signing up for nothing and i ALWAYS get junk. I log in some months later to see like 300 spam mails of some sorta viagara and crap.

no. Most companies agree not to sell your email. It's only when you click those interests, and then it's your own fault. MOST junk mail comes from signing up for random shit online.
gmail never asked for my interests when signing up Not to mention I didn't sign up for ANYTHING on some accounts besides making that email, and after a few months it's filled with junk, so it didn't make much sense to me.

A lot of spammers randomly send out emails to hotmail, gmail, or other web mail sites with computer generated emails and the spammer doesn't have an email account to even see if they've bounced. Also, if you ever enter your email on a web site with the full myname@thisdomain.com shown there are programs for spammers that spider web sites and pull all the emails out of them automatically.
Oh yeah that is also something i read. So if you want to post an e-ail somewhere (i don't like to do that personal) then you can do myname (at) thisdomein dot com
