Last night on the AC someone posted a link that looked like it went to a petpage but if you clicked on the link it did something strange.
Some people lost avatars and np, some lost items.
Some people got given np and codestones etc.

The person who created the board got frozen for exploiting a glitch. Strange eh?
Any of you guys see it?

Not me... but i highly recommend do not enter any link someone is posting on boards...it can contain cookie grabbers or any other way of taking your account's password

I miss out on all the fun :(. I've heard of something similar happening before - the link was created to look like a pet page link, but it actually linked to an outside site. Easy way around it is to just type the pet in and access the page that way, but it's so easy to forget and just click. Even better, just stay away from the Neoboards altogether and post here instead. The Neoboards are always full of idiots. However, if it's to do with a glitch.. That's something different. I can't quite work out how that happened.. Thing is, you can't trust what people on the boards say. They tend to just coy each other so if one person says they lost something a whole hoard of others will say they have too, even if they haven't. They just like to cause a scene and many of them think that others may feel sorry for them and send them things. Fools.

That's still strange though, cookie grabbers can't remove avatars...
Are you sure that people actually lost avatars by going to this site?

It wasnt a site, it was on neo.

And yes my friend lost two game avatars, but she doesnt want to say anything in case TNT freeze her for abusing the glitch too! You know what they're like!:p

No great loss though, she can just get them again:)

I don't think it's fair to freeze the person that posted the link. How are they supposed to know that it was a glitch? They could just think TNT was doing something like the Lever in the moon where you pull and lose 100 neopoints.

I missed it aswell! They shouldn't freeze people for exploiting a glitch, even if they were aware it was a glitch, it is a neopest fault not the users!

    I agree with that.

Some people were getting items so it was obvious it was a glitch though... :?

This site was sure on the neopets site? The only way I can think of these things happening is if there was a random event placed on a certain page that everybody got once. This may have been an error in some coding or maybe placed there for some unknown reason. Or, I could be wrong all together. That's very odd, and it seems suspicious.

    Hahaha, that's funny.

My conspiracy theory was correct! Let's find more glitches to abuse :).

Was that the glitch where you have a random event when you visit that page?
