I currently own an ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 XT... The reason I bought this card: -dual vga -tv-tuner -tv-out -remote was included with the bundle -bought the "XT" because it was the fastest card available in this category By today's standart, it ain't the best card, since it's almost 3 years old. But at the time, it was one hell of a card... You should start by writing what are your priorities and we'll see what will be the best deal for you (ie. cheapest possible, fastest card, SLI ready, ect...)
Thank you for your time.By the way i am looking to buy nvidia(not saying ati are bad and also they are available here easily than ati).I need a graphics card with above decent(good) performance.I read review of many cards and nvidia 8800 gt is in my mind. What do you say about that. :yup:
Ok, so I've read a bit about this card and it seems to be a pretty decent one... the only negative side I can see is that the card won't support directX 10.1 (thus won't be running pixel shader 4.1) This is not a big problem now, but if you think you'll keep the card long enough, you should look at something that will be compatible... Another point to keep in mind: this card may become quite hot due to poor cooling design... Some company now sell the card with better cooling system, so you have to watch that too. Finally, read the review HERE. You'll see that for the same exact card made buy 3 differents company, there will be quite a difference in performance... SO, overall, I should say: buy that card NOW ! one of the best bang for the buck right now... for a limited budget, you won't find better IMO.
Thanks tharoux for your time.Yes i agree with you(this is the best card available in my location in my budget). Anyways please post your graphics card(now i'm just curious) may be from the post we can make a poll or something. :maha:
if you have some extra cash on hand, go for 2 9600gt in sli or a 3870x2, those are the most powerful graphics solutions under $500
i believe you mean 9800gx2 but it probably isnt worth getting another one, those cards arent known to scale well and you probably wont notice the difference
Lol yep, it's a 9800 not 8900. Im still thinking about my 8800gtx... And actually the difference is great. It's the equivelent of having 2 8800gtx's in SLI so basucally I traded my 1 8800gtx for 2 of them which ran me about 500$
lol my graphic card is so old, i think its a radeon 7000 -.- explains the lags in those huge games...
Just bought a MSI 9800GTX... I've bought that card for Age of Conan. Paid 200€ (in a online shop...) and that card is worth the moneys I paid
nVidia 8800s are a good price to performance ratio atm stay away from the odd numbers btw...just not a good ieda
I have a 8600 GT but it's pretty old. When I get a new comp i'm gonna try to get something in SLi if I have the money.
lol by pretty old do you mean 1 year? I have a x1900xtx...from like 3 years go! Still runs great though, doesn't quite warrant an upgrade yet...then again I stopped playing video games right about when I got it.
x1900xt is a great graphic card Was the best overall when came out... And is surely better than a 8600/9300...
, I've the horrible and old NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440  Never changed it since I bought the PC^^" Luckly I don't play games =P
