What happens when you're IP banned?

I heard that when you're IP banned, you can't log in and create account. If you do manage to create an account, TNT will freeze you 10 mins later. IP ban only last a month I believe.

 

Try making account on a different account and then youll know

if you connect to neopets using that link you can access your account but there are restrictions too

 

ok if you are usin wireless then log on to your neighboors wireless connect and turn off your modem. Or you could get some cheap dialup to connect to neopets. http://www.freedialup.org/site/componen ... /Itemid,1/ here. Contact your isp say that you think someone has acseesed your stuff or someone malicious found your ip. Or turn off your modem overnight if tat dosn't work turn it off longer.

 

Simply turn off (i usually unplus the wires) overnight and when u wake up plug them back in and u get a new I.P. address. this worksmost of the time. If not it is harder to reset

 

oops when i say unplug i mean the modem. (don't buy another it's a waste)

Dude that sucks you were ip banned but you can call your isp and have it changed.

I have often wondered what it takes to get IP banned from neo...

but i pretty much have a different IP every week or so... so it would be hard for them to pinpoint my IP to ban it... unless they ban them all....

neopets can tell when you are using it.

I would either have your IP changed like these people have suggested or download a program off the interent that changes it for you. And Im not talking about proxies... Yuk.. I never could get a working one.

But I use a program that channels my interent traffic thought their private servers. And it is also different usually everyday.

Most you have you pay for though. But almost all have a free trial

 

My IP ban lasted for six weeks last summer, but I'd never been in trouble before. If you've had a ton of iced accounts, you could maybe expect it to be a little longer, but I doubt it will be permanent. I know of no one that has been permanently banned, but have known someone who was banned for six months at one point :shock:. Could you manage that long without Neo land?

 

I think theres a way to change your IP address...

 

jsut use a dif proxy, just takes a bit of work to find one that works

 

I downloaded a thing from Microsoft that changes your IP address... I'm pretty sure it worked, so you could try looking for something like that.

 

I think there's a way to change it in IPconfig (Start>Run>IPConfig) but if not unplugging your modem overnight will work generally.

 

I've been IP banned for almost over a year now.
Just use a proxy to log in/create an account and then you can turn it off after that.

But they're always on my tail lol. Sometimes it takes them one month to ban me, and sometimes it takes 3 days.

I'm IP banned too ... and I can't create a new account with a proxy I don't understand ... it doesn't work ( :cry:

 

Same here im trying to figure out how to change my IP. Ive learned that there are two types your internal and external. The one you need to change is the external and all the ipconfig stuff you here only changes the internal. Still cant find a way to bypass the ban besides using a proxy. Anyone know how?

i suggest if ure ip baned get dialup. ive never been ip banned so i dunno how well this works its just my theory.

i have dialup so every time i use a cheat prog of some kind i log out the disconnect & then connect again login into my next account im useing the cheat on. i mostly do this w/ sponsor links & will run the program on about 10 accounts. id like to get a script made that will make the np for me overnight. its the only time i could run it cuz it would the 10 hrs 4 all my 20 accts. :shock: i believe the sponsor links take ure ip every time u click them. i also dont do them every day but only a few times a week. im pretty safe. maybe u could switch net companies as well. dunno if that will help or not?
