What vid card should I get.

    i recomend "nvidia geforce go7400 with turbo cache, supporting 256mb.

    i have this on my sony vaio and it works wonders with all games i play.

    What Price are you looking at paying for the video card? Also... If you go for a top of the line Video Card but your computers specs aren't that great then you wont be getting the best performance out of the card itself therefore wasting quiet a bit of money on something that you will not full utilize until the rest of your computer is up to speed.

    If you post your Computer specifications i.e...Amount of Ram, Processor Type, and type of motherboard ill be able to give you fairly good advice on what card you should get, ill also take into consideration your budget what ever that may be.

    Oh Also - Depending on what sort of games you will be playing will determine what sort of graphics card you should get as well.

    I use a geforce go 3300 and it works great for me, I mean it plays all my games including diablo 2 starcraft, WoW, and many others!

    I play source on my laptop and have 64mb shared video. 1Gig Ram, and 2.2 Ghz processor.

    I get around 40fps and is def. playable!
