So this weekend, I'm probably going to buy an mp3 player. Not sure which one yet, but as of now I'm debating between the iPod Classic and the Zune. I can spend around $300. You guys have any suggestions/comments?

if you want a cool mp3 player with a ton of features, go with iTouch. if you need more space go with ipod classic

What are some of the features of the iTouch? My friend has one, and he just brags about the internet access. It seems kind of pricey to me as well ><

the internet is awesome but it also has an awesome video player 100x better than any ipod (i have an iphone and my sis has an ipod and you cant even compare the two for video) the interface is very sleek, and if you do a lil modding you can get 3rd party apps on like emulators, games, even pianos

You mean iTouch o_O. Anyways it sounds pretty tempting after looking more into it. Shame it doesn't have a lot of memory ><

I'd say the nano for it's size and the lack of HDD but I'm biased towards SS memory in all things.

Get a Creative Zen Vision M:30/60 GB!

Igot one, very happy with it, i mainly bought it for the movies, since i spend alot of time being bored @ college, stuck behind a pc, so i just watch movies, which is very enjoyable to see on it. For the rest it has awesome quality music, and radio on it ( though, who wants radio when you got your own songs =P )

Only bad thing about it is that it looks...big, but, who cares, it isn't heavy, it doesn't break, and feels good in your hand!

    Forget ipods! get a zen ! :p

    basically id say the zune

one of the reasons is the huge screen and ive heard that they have a higher satisfaction rate

    &

for the ipod your basically paying for the brand and a tiny screen

    so id say the zune

for $250 get a 80gb zune. i got a 30gb zune a couple months ago, its pretty nice. 80gb zune and ipod both have like 30 hour battery life, but the zune has a screen you can actually see(like 2.5x3.5 inches or something huge). and zune pass- $15/month unlimited downloads. you'll never spend 2000 trying to legally fill a zune.

You do realize the irony in these two statements?

Frankly I don't see how the Zune even stays in the market when you only look at it's function.
