I'm thinking about to buy a new computer, but I dunno if it's better a PC or a Mac... Windows Vista will be relased soon (I have the beta and it works fine), but I never used a Mac... So which is better??? PS: You can suggest OS different from yours... Thx
Windows Vista will be relased on Jenuary... Now only the RC2 is avaiable, but it is really good!!! :wink:

Windows XP of course... I don't plan on getting Vista for at least 6 months after it's released, that way they can get most of the buggy shite out of it.
Is Mac better than Windows XP? My friend keeps buggin me saying that her OS is better, if it is Im going to blow her computer up.
I'm using windows XP. I think mac is good for graphic design, animation and the sort cause whenever I go to a design school, I always see mac. Same goes with my friends who are doing those subjects.
Yeah I'm using CS2 and a few other 3D programs but i can't be bothered changing to mac. I've gotten so used to pc and windows.
wow surprised to see Linux in the options. I use Windows XP and Linux as a dual boot. Linux is alright but its more for the advanced computer user and is a lot less user friendly than Windows/Mac. I also wont be getting Vista until there are patches to remove all that DRM protection they have in it.
if you are into photoshop, slideshows, media stuff then get a mac mac are really good for editing stuff microsoft is better for documents and stuff i like windows cause i really hate how the macs desktop is set up
vista is microsoft's new operating system...it's pretty nice. it has 3D destops and stuff but it takes at least 1 gig ram :?...beta's been out for awhile now and the real version should be available soon.... mac comes with better editing software than windows....but additional software such as photoshop, run about the same...
