just wondering, as we have to do all the tedious stuff, like submitting applications, writing a resume for youself, waiting for approval and such. thanks !
Its so difficult to get level three since they are supposed to be the most respected members of neofirneds.net and get special privileges like special programs and 1 point one. It isn't really that hard if you are committed to this site and stay here for a few months and be active/helpful. And also now there are so may users to choose from to be new level threes so it is going to be more competitive
but i feel that the non-tech people are really at a disadvantage (i.e. being unable to contribute in the forms of programmes, and just helping people out) which in my opinion, is what the people are looking out for when they sieve out the level 3 people.
I disagree look at Son of Chilly. Hes no programmer and is level 3 and has the most posts. Hes just an all around great guy
true, but just look around, most people with level 3 tags also are programmers. i'm not putting aside sonofchilli, but that's only one person :X correct me if i'm wrong. thanks !
hehheh...I don't program either...+___+ level 3 is hard to obtain because of all the benefits...it everyone could easily access the 1 point downloads, then people would just come for the programs and leave...
but it's also is considerably hard to obtain for the non-i-come-to-this-forum-download-MTG-and-leavers p.s. how did you get your L3?
You get elected and actually I have the most posts . Just be helpful in the neopets area. You just think you have to program to be level three since most of the active level three's are programmers. And most of us did come here for programs but stay for the community
okay. i'll try my best to be helpful around here. i wonder if people will remember and vote for me =/ i'm just put off by the "resume"
well...I've been here quite a while (joined 2 weeks after the site was created), contributed some to the community, and I don't fight with/flame others... and level 3 truly isn't quite that hard...and besides you have near 500 posts in like 13 day
programming is a slight advantage but not many of the level 3s are programmers and none of the level 3s were programmers when the first joined this site. i started off coding as a way to give to the site and contributing. obviously programming is looked at, but if there is a nasty programmer and a nice non-programmer then i go for the nice one who is helpful
i hope it's not really my post count. i post often, not just because of the points, it's just to help people who have created threads, who have a problem who needs to be answered. (as i post even after my 40 / 10 )
level 3 isn't just about the benefits (free programs) either, it's about prestige, in my eyes. It's like the winner awards and whatnot you have on the side of your messages. It's like an award for those who have contributed a lot to the forum, making it a better place. I, for one, have been here for a few months now, and I realized that I don't even deserve level 3. I've seen a few members here for a month or 2 that really deserve it, though.
it is the highest honor, reserved for only the best... basically like the CEO in a compmany, if I am not mistaken... and there are nice benifits, all progs for a single point
yeahh, i kind of understand now, it's kinda about pride, honour and such, for helping out regularly =/
exactly although i'm not even level one i've understood that from the start(but i'm just the kind of guy that can think into things deeply for a while, i'm also not boasting so don't confuse it with that)
