I was in the Battle dome chat today.. And someone on the boards said that they could read anyones neomails... A lot of people were posting for him to show this by telling them what they wrote to such and such.. and what some person wrote to them last. They were all accurate. And people were all going crazy trying to figure out how he was doing it. He said it was just some wierd Exploit and he hoped it got fixed. He will probably be frozen... He wouldnt say HOW he was seeing everything though. Does anyone have any idea how he could have been doing this?
Were there a lot of people who were asking him to prove it? If not, it could've just been his friends being silly.
It was ALOT of people. And he did ALOT of them. I didn't ask him to do mine because 1. I usually only lurk on neoboards 2. I don't want people looking into my account anyway I was skeptical at first. But after reading like the 20th one... I was pretty amazed. I think it's a real thing. He had to ask people to stop asking him to do it because so many were If it was a program.... Neopets claims to have never been hacked... Well they can't really claim that anymore
That's very odd. There have been plenty of glitches and bugs going on around Neo. TNT must be adding in more stuff or fixing some old broken pages which could lead to this? Who knows, those are my theories.
this is very strange indeed...i would suggest not asking him to check yours because thats the last thing you want is someone looking into your acct... this coincides with the ongoing theme around this whole site: attention to your acct==bad stealth acct==good TNT/other people looking at or into your acct==ICED stay away from this guy with the neomail reader...sounds dangerous to me...
Yeah... sounds weird. I wouldnt neomail him or anything. Sounds like hes gonna end up being frozen... Along with lots of others.
I second that philosophy. The more you stay under the radar, the better chance you have of surviving.
probably he discovered a hyperlink that you could put a username into and read the neomails.. something like the link that always gave you a random event by visiting it.. wonder how he did it though.. maybe by studying the code or link it submits to when sending a neomail?
Did they manage to fix it? I'm not to fussed if anyone reads mine they are all replies to dumb neomails people send me asking me for things for free and things like that!
yeah...TNT would have a big problem if there were neomail hackers, i mean they could have a bunch of privacy law suits against them really quick if they couldn't control it fast, and as much as we hate TNT...lol, we don't want them to lose money or we will hate them more if you know what I mean...
