I wouldn't get Windows Vista right away, since its just released theres bound to be a whole lot of bugs. So you should wait till they release some service packs before you think about getting it.

I wont bother getting Vista for a while unless it offers something amazing or can do lots of new things that XP can't.

Ya.. It's true, need to wait for a period of time..

Vista still have bugs to fix it..

unfortunately i cant try it myself, cos i like to try new things, just want to reformat and reinstall windows, that's easy for me..

I get it for free at my college but I'm not getting it yet. It's new so there will be lots of bugs and compatibility issues. I learned this when I had xp for the first time .. lol. I would wait till a service pack comes out or something.

    It looks cool though.

I agree with most of the posts...you really should wait it out if you want to get it. The price (if you buy it...) will also drop quickly once the hype is gone.

Yep, I'm chilling on my Vista at the moment. It's way smoother than Windows Xp. Vista is expensive, but its worth it. You gotta love the aurora effects.

yea, everyone suggests to wait til microsoft releases a service pack before installing vista because it mite have a lot of bugs (and price should go down, too)

I tried it and won't recommend it at all for now..until the next update.

As for pricing, shouldn't your Vista be free?
