For me, this one is easily Timeline. The book by Michael Crichton is one of my all time favorites and the whole time I was reading it I kept thinking what an awesome movie it would make. Needless to say, I was SORELY disappointed in the movie... It was just super cheesy, they ruined certain plot elements, and to top it all off, the main character was played by Paul Walker. Really? The only movies I've ever liked him in were the Fast and the Furious movies. Anyway, what are your opinions?

Very true. And what if I had watched the movie first? Maybe I would have liked it better than the book...
