I have been traumatised by skinning... My last skin was a Vista one, which got my computer all screwed with bits of Vista and a screwed up resolution... Some of the System files were lost and unable to run too. :? Any guarantee of this other than you being evidence?

Mac's appearance is stylish, but XP is compatible with more stuff, because, yes, Microsoft again. Same goes for XBox. So I'll probably try Mac skin on XP OS when I've decided I'm not scared of skinning anymore.

This, in no way, will mess up anything.
And if it does, it's an easy fix.
Just ask me if you need some help with something
basically all you have to do is download all 7 things and install them, and it does everything for you.

If you want to uninstall, all you have to do is go to start (Press the windows button if you accidentally hid it, even though it's easy to get back), control panel, add/remove programs, and choose what you want to uninstall.

Agreed. I know it's a bit different, but I installed a Windows Media Player black theme onto my laptop with absolutely no problems at all. It integrated with the normal themes and it looks like it was always supposed to be there. You just need to follow the directions carefully.

The first one is what makes the windows look like mac ones, and with the yellow, green, and red circles instead of the _ [ ] X

the object bar, which i have on hide so i can just use it when i put my mouse up there, is whats always at the top of macs
    file, edit, view
    ect

after that, its pretty obvious what everything is
to make it more mac-like, and helpful, on the bar at the bottom, be sure to put the active tasks on it

If your afraid of doing something wrong with your comp, you can use XPTheme along with "mimic" theme... Great result and it,s only a theme, nothing to install apart from the XPTheme program.
