I'm running an 8 years old machine so don't expect anything good:

    AMD XP 1700+ @ 1.46 ghz
    512 ram
    80 gig HD
    Sound Blaster Live 5.1
    ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 XT running 2 X 17 inches Acer flat

It's enough for me... for now... I'm only playing old games... I've got a xbox 360 for the new games ;)

that's an upgraded system I got !!!
went from 256 RAM to 512
from a 20 gig HD to 80 gig
from a nvidia geforce MX 440 to FX 5200 to ATI AIW 9600XT
    from a single 17 inches to 2 X 17 inches flat.

What's killing me right now is my CPU but if I change it, I need to change all the hardware that goes along with the motherboard.... so for now, I'm stuck....

heck dell sucks period!!! my frend uses a dell desktop and he has problems with it all the time! when he upgrades, he can only buy the pc components from dell. if he bought a pc component from another vendor, it wouldnt work on his dell. that is y he bought his RAm from dell. so what did he buy? he bought a 256 MB stik. how much was it? 80 bucks!!! what a rip-off!!!
