I recently noticed that my DS Lite's upper screen is broken, it only shows half the picture now. I have been wishing for an another DS anyway so that trading pokemon would be easier :) The 3DS sounds pretty cool since I'm a fan of everything 3D, and you can play Zelda OoT on it. Also, I'm so damn nearsighted that eye strain won't be a problem B)

Then again I could just buy a cheap DS/Lite/i from an online auction.

If you have any experience with 3DS, or just have an opinion then I'd like to hear it. Or any other info, rumor etc. Thank you!

All I've heard is the eye strain with the 3DS, which can be a pain. That only happens to people who play it for hours on end, but with games like OoT, that can happen.

I've seen OoT on the 3DS. It's pretty neat, and brings a lot of nostalgia back.

I reccommend you should try nintendo 3DS before buying it..

Many people, including myself get headaches when playing 3d games or watching 3d movies

People say they get headaches if they play too long but then the games which are coming out are nice. Personally I wouldn`t pay that much but if I had the money I would probably get it.

I heard the 3D feature can be set off, so if the view is hurting my eyes then I can tone it down.

The expensiveness is the biggest hindrance for me too. I should just wait for the price to drop, but then again that could take years. Arrgh.

Well if you are going to like not have it on 3D half the time then save $100 or so dollars and get the regular.
