Guild Wars 2

Can somebody explain to me exactly what guild wars is? Is it a MMO like TOR and WOW?

 

Like WOW, with better graphics, and no charging per month.
You buy the game, you have lifetime access.

I haven't really played WOW so I might be wrong, but in GW, there's a storyline (quite a good one IMO).

I've been seeing the beta alot ( im not sure if its the beta or if it has been released yet actually) ..and looks really good..going to blow wow out of the water

 

I'm still not sure if I'm going to get this, I loved the first one but this one seems a little different. Certainly there are things to be excited about, but I'll decide eventually when it actually comes out. At the moment, I'm glad I'm not more excited, since people are so impatient

 

I have it..... ehhhh, I just don't think I am into MMOs as much as i once was.
I've pretty much completely stopped playing.

 

I have never really had a good enough pc to run games like this, hence I play neo.

Do they not take quite a lot of game time to actually get anywhere in though? They seem like quite a large commitment if you are going to buy it.

 

I love GW! Can't stop playing it, I think I'm obsessed

leveling slow on gw2? What are you smokin? Easiest game to level up on that I've ever played.

 

I played GW2 for a while. Loved the Char especially as a race, I just don't like the main storyline :/ Then again maybe I shouldnt have picked the Priory *cough*

After a while I quitted because I got sick of having to grind the same 'dynamic' events over to level up with some speed.
