If we have enough proxy servers, the technology would allow it. If you think about it in that way, you can do the same with downloadable programs... I understand your worries, but why should I go hacking if I have the skills to build more advance things for myself? As long as the site is password protected and neopets usernames are invisible there is no way they can see it, if we use a diffrent proxy for every user.
Not a good idea I don't think you should do it, I mean, you could get shut down pretty easy..and what happens when the server is full? A lag in an autobuyer? It may not work well.
See now this is the first I've ever heard of an online ABer and I think it sounds fantastic. If you can get it running it could potentially change the face of ABing! I'd love to try it when you're done. Keep going!
hmm I think it is a good idea if you limited the people that used it. Maybe give invitations or something.
To counter the proxy issue, what I would suggest is obtaining about 200 fresh high-anonymous security proxies (Could cost you around $50 from a proxy forum) At any one time, limit the amount of users who can use the online script to autobuy to just 50. As users sign up to your closed site (via invites) have each assigned one of the proxies permanently. This would counter the problems of having hundreds of people all using the same IP address. A further issue you should consider. Make sure that your script does not re-route every single packet from each user through the server itself. What you would have there is every single proxy IP restamped by the servers and a big chain icing lol.
Yes I agree it would be a great idea, but you do have to worry about TNT. Password protected would be a great idea.
I really like the idea of an online aber... I'd love to try it if you decide to do it. Hell, I even sign-up as a beta tester, if you need one.
This sounds like a great idea. I'm also positive it's plausible. I know of a PHP autobuyer at another forum. I'm not sure how that person worked theirs out, because when I used it, it was having some errors and not functioning properly. However, like I said, your idea seems sound, and I would definitely look forward to it- it would be nice for people who don't have a lot of points to download the MSAB, and it could be used if you were on a different computer onto which you couldn't download programs. I would be happy to beta test
Thanx for your enthausiastic replies I'm going to work on it this summer holiday. You'll hear it when I launch the first beta version. Good ideas are still welcome, btw
... I think it sounds awesome. =3 You should definitely try it and then if it doesn't work out well, take it down. Can't wait! -Brit
