... eventually I guess. I don't want to change the software on my Vaio & I'm planning on getting a Mac next year so.... I might just hold out until whatever comes after Vista is released.

Windows has a bad track record w/ programming errors so I'll sit back & see. My brother had bought XP as soon as it came out & the thing killed his computer in less than a month. [Okay, that & the porn he was dling.] :D

I don't see the advantages vista has over xp that warrents around 4 times the system requirements.

Aren't computers suppost to get faster as time goes on?
Microsoft has this gift for making each new version slower and buggier than the previous one.

Yes with every version of windows comes more bugs and more useless applications.

I bet half of the shit thats new is useless to the average user.

Unfortunately my computer isn't powerful enough to run it.

I wouldn't be running it if I had a stronger computer either because of the amount of bugs and security flaws that come with any piece of software just released. Because of the work I do on my computer is another reason why I wouldn't. Possibly will try it in 6 months - a years time when its got service packs issued and the like. Also gives me time to save the cash to build a machine that will be able to handle it.
