in a nutshell, for every 1 mac update, theres 10 .dll updates, 15 bug updates, and like 60 security updates for winblows... ill be honest, mac has always required its user to not be lazy and take that extra step to do what u want it todo (hence single button mouse; small amount of shortcut commands) i do music production / dj for a living, i honestly want to dump my pc out the window, it just dosent cooperate, too much bs to handle it, plus. softwarewise it is byfar weaker than apple's Logic studio by a long shot. so if i had to choose between one or the other i would say mac....

i've been thinking about switching to a Mac since i attend college and thought maybe that it would help instead of using my regular laptop. I wanted to buy the black macbook but at the time i don't have the money. Now they introduced the new Macbook and i'm a little concern about it. Does anyone have the new macbook or even tested it to see how different it is?

Nope I don't have it, but since all these new macbooks are coming out I notice the price of the ibooks just dropping, if i could find a nice new ibook I might buy it, anyone know of any major problems with the ibooks that were improved?

If I was you, I would definitely get the new BlackBook. (That's what we call them in the biz).
It is very, very good. It has a sweet graphics card built in now as well, plus you get all the benefits of it being a Mac xD
    I say buy it!

I've heard a lot of disappointment over the new macs not that much improvement and some of the improvements like the new screen and more colours are irritating people because that particular improvement makes photoshopping harder. I would just capitalise off the older versions coming down in price.

it was a joke.....being sarcastic, dont get me wrong mac is a good product, but the price to improvement ratio on their products are rather garbage.

(meaning, for ex one of their improvements was 2'' more viewable on the screen, and for that the laptop went up 400$ in price =P)
