    maybe trampled?

it was too much a happy ending for me but rowling did tie up loose ends quite nicely in the epilogue...

I don't think so, because the whole spider thing happened before Hagrid carried 'dead' harry back to the castle.
I would have liked less of a cheery ending as well, but all things considered it was really good.
    I hope she keeps writing.

He was on the train getting it on with Victoire, who I assume is Bill and Fleur's daughter (judging from the name)

I hope it's not too late to post! I've just only finished the book yesterday (would have finished it sooner if I hadn't been having my mid-terms)
... I have to say, I can't believe how many people die in this one! >.<
and omigosh Snape's memories were so sad :(

I thought the ending was well done. Many people were hoping for a sad ending, but more people will like it being happy.

I wasn't hoping for a sad ending per say, just more of a realistic one.

J.K had to make the ending like this, or else the little kiddies wouldn't be able to take it.

It was completely diff from the other books cause they weren't even in school until the last few chapters... the ending was predictable I guess except for Snape's memories... those were really sad. I still really enjoyed the book, especially the bank heist :yup:

But don't forget that these books were so big that there are bound to be a whole lot of untrue rumors going around about them. [...]

I was really hoping that somethinh more would happen with Sirius. I dont get why he fell through that arch in the 5th book and i never understood what the arch was for. I was kinda hoping for neville to more important too. Atleast he couldve killed bellatrix
