believe me, i had the same thing. they don't understand. I knew a girl who was creepy and kept following me XD Then one day, I had enough. I think I even yelled at her, saying I don't want her around me and that she should go away and bother someone else. She looked at me, and didn't say a word the whole day THANK GOD. but then my friend phoned me saying that she was talking to my friend and asking her if i was mad o.o. The next day she sat next to me, like i didn't say a thing :/ So being directly might not come across D:
LOL I have made her cry by saying really bad stuff so she'd go away. I have said it quite harsh and directly. :/ But the next day she came back hopping to me o.o
