Well, either way, avoid bearshare at all costs..

Early last year I had to wipe my computer because it was so full of crap and i remember having to close 20 - 30 ads every five seconds for some reason.. so I wiped the computer,s aved the important files and reloaded all the old progs, including bearshare

    it started happening again

i took it back to the ladyand she looked at my c drive and 36 GIGs of my 40 was taken up from all the crap that came with bearshare.. I didn't even know it could do that much damage!!

I use bit torent and limewire but i hardly download stuff now

Wow when I tried to get Pro off the internet, it said I have to pay for it.

Did you get it from the actual website?

I didn't even know LimeWire existed anymore! It's been like 5 years since I used it. I go with torrents nowadays. Oh - how I love torrents! 8)

Bittorrent = faster if you worked for slave labour for 15c per hour on weekends in Feburary.

Soulseek = same as limewire with less people.

I think BitTorrent is the way to go these days, especially for large files such as movies or full albums. I use uTorrent and get most torrents from Demonoid.

If I'm just looking for a single music file, I use SoulSeek.

I wouldn't even bother with LimeWire and such anymore.

Isn't using bit torrents safer with the new, and old, FBI copyright laws?

Someone can have part of a file and they can't really be sued becuase it's useless or some crap like that?

I'll have to check this soul seek thingie out.

I prefer torrents, much much better. They don't call limewire viruswire for nothing you know ;)

I suppose limewire is better for individual songs but I tend to download albums/discographys.
